I wonder what kind of price breaks they would be willing to give us?

I wondering what they would give to... They told me that it all depends on the amount of people that want that product. Cause in order for them to cut the coast the have to produce a certain amount of products or something.

Heres the email:

Hi Kamber,

We always like to consider group buys. As you mentioned that would take some volume to ramp up production to reduce costs. if you wanted to gauge interest, we'd be happy to see what we could do depending on the number of interested members.

Thanks,

Josh

Well judging by our last group by there isn't much interest in aftermarket parts. Hopefully we can wrangle up a handfull.

Yeah man, I actually wouldn't mind those too. Although I would be a little more excited if the cat back was a full exhaust from the headers back, no cats of course.

Cool... Just so uk though this isn't a group buy... Stillen isn't offering one until they see how many people would be interested and in what products they would be interested in. So this is kinda like a survey.

Why don't we just contact Josh since he's a member on the Org anyway? I have an email address to his Secretary (Margaret Lo).

Quite a few of the items I already have from Stillen so I didn't include them on my poll but I'd definitely be interested in some of the others.

It would've been extra nice to have a SC on that Poll as well.

Hi Kamber,

We're definitely reviewing the results, and I would love to see something happen for the maxima.org crowd.

Please definitely generate the interest, and let me take this information up the ladder here at STILLEN and see what I can do.

Thank you very much for your help. It is really appreciated not only by me but I'm sure by everyone else interested in your company. I understand that right now not many people have the 7th Generation Maxima yet but for those that do having your products in their cars will be a good way of promoting your products. Thats just the way that I look at it. When I first got into cars I didn't even know that Stillen existed until one of my friends was talking about how much he love his intake and exhaust. Anything that could be done would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank you again Josh, I'll continue to get the hype going to the best of my ability.

I would be interested in a group buy. I want the intake, the front lip (Painted) the Rear Upper Spoiler (Painted) and now that they are selling the H & R Springs i would also be interested in that.

P.Ss Josh anyway you can get the front lip and rear upper spoiler painted black (color coded) to match my maxima. Obviously I'll pay the difference. It would just save me a lot of time and would make it so much easier for me.

Ok well i think that we have a pretty good interest in many of the products but the two that seem to be the winners here are the exhaust and the intake. So Josh what do you think? Is there anything that we can do here?

Hi tigersharkdude,

At this point the coupon/group purchase is limited to the 2009 Maxima parts listed above, but I would encourage you to give one of our sales guys a call to discuss other products. (800) 834-0376

Thanks!

Josh any chance the lip spoiler and roof spoiler can be painted black (color coded) don't know if you have a paint shop but if you do, can you do it and how much will it be. It would defenitely make it easier for me to buy it and just install it, instead of running around here getting it painted and waiting around. If you can great if not then I'll hold off on those and just get the intake. Any chance you can get a groupbuy on the H & R Springs for the 09 Maxima if so, I would also like to get that. Thanx again for working with us, its much appreciated.

Unfortunately we do not offer painted parts, we've done them in the past, but it's honestly a lot easier for you to find someone local and get them done.

Damage from shipping (back and forth to us, repainting, etc.) is a problem, along with (especially Nissan's) the paint codes do not always match what's on your vehicle. The shades can be different, and taking it to a shop who can match specifically always nets a much better result.

For H&R we'd have to have some specific commitment numbers to do a purchase on your behalf. I believe our pricing is extremely competitive however, please PM me if you see a better deal and are ready to buy..

Thanks!

Intake and exhaust systems both improve the efficiency of the engine, and would help to increase the fuel economy of the vehicle, pending you don't go and screw it all up by slamming your right foot down all the time to hear the improved note..

Josh no problem I understand with getting the products painted and shipped. Its not a problem. As for the springs, not to many people are selling them, except for some person on ebay that sells them for $313 free shipping, so no price match at the moment. I will be purchasing from you this week for sure. To bad I really want to get that lip spoiler on my car but I'll wait, hopeully I'll get those 2 other items before the end of the month. I will be taking my car to the shop probably next month to get some paint work done to it and i'll take those spoilers with me. As for the springs I also want those. Hmmm maybe I'll get the springs instead of the intake. Not sure Josh but will be ordering online this week for sure. Again thanx for the quick response and if money starts working towards my favor soon, you'll be seeing alot of me as well. I'm an addict to making cars look nice and you guys sell some quality stuff.

Man this sucks because I already have the Intake and Full Catback exhaust from Chirstmas time frame......I am sure my wife would have loved all of the discounts......Man I am always too late for the good deals...I guess that is what happens when you get stuff as soon as they come out! Maybe I will just have to get something else to take advantage of the new deals!
