Honeycomb rims refinish

I have some honeycomb rims that have the clear coat flaking off. Now I see the links to paint rims but I want to refinish the clearcoat and I need some advice. What kind of clear coat to use? Rustoleum Enamel? and should I use a sanding disc or use a chemical remover? I want the best but eaiset way to do this any info greatly appreciated!

sanding disc to remove anything you can. The are so thck you won't even notice anything sanded to much. Just use a dremel or an piece of sand paper for the lug holes. You'll do fine. About 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, and 3 coats of clear......correct me if i am wrong. Thats how i would do them
