Garmin Nuvi 780 with MSN Direct Hardwire

Just a quick question........Going to install a Garmin Nuvi 780 that has the MSN Direct. I'm going to hard wire the Garmin, but just curious if the MSN Direct will be powered through this same barewire, or would I have to separately hardwire that? I'm searching for the owner's manual now. I'm installing it for a friend and have not played with one yet, but he asked about the MSN Direct portion of the install. Is this built into the Garmin or a separate component. I'm searching some more but just wondering if anyone has had experience and a quick answer for me. Thanks.

btw, it's going into a 2007 Acura TL.

No problem. I'm going to go ahead and trial and error the bare wire and see how it works out. I'm thinking that it will be fine. I'll report back with a writeup.

I have a Garmin 765T which uses fm and not MSN for traffic, my antenna is built into the power plug. I would imagine that the MSN is powered by the same cord as the Garmin itself.
