WTB: VG rod and piston

I need to send a piston to BRC for some measurements. I could return it if needed.

I also need a good connecting rod or 2 - must say "w" on it.

You don't indicate what your project is and I couldn't identify what gen your working on. The "w" is the modified block, right? Has the long snout as opposed to the short snouted, single woodruff keyed "a" block from the earlier z's and max's?

Not sure if this helps, but I have an entire VG short block: Crank, pistons, rods, oil pump...assembled. My short block is the newer "w" block with the long crank snout. Where are you located? Interested in an entire short block? If not, what are you offering so I can determine if it is worth it to dissassemble my short block?

FYI: My short block came out of my Max, had close to 200k miles, ran strong with a little oil use and only slight smoking when cold. I have a brand new set of Nissan stock piston rings for a turbo, but should also be good for N/A use as well. With a good hone, these rings, and have the crank turned for good measure, this short block will be perfect for any modifications. Knowing how strong this engine run before, is exactly why I've kept it around. I've simply focused on my turbo which is in my Max now.

Let me know.
