Not sure about the rest of the parts for sale here, but the maf adapters do NOT properly fit a 4th gen. Potential buyers - proceed with caution!

Oh yeah, also charged an extra $7 dollars for shipping - actual cost $2.27.

Yeah, sure I'd trust you now to do the right thing and return my money that you obtained fraudulently.

If anyone's interested I can post the pm where the seller admits he sent me the wrong maf the first time and corrected his mistake by sending me an identical unit. Pics available to anyone interested.

User error? Either the bolt holes line or or they don't - and they DON'T.

Oh yeah, your 'guesstimate' on shipping was only off by about 300% to your advantage. Nice job.

Send me the pics.

As far as the shipping, estimating shipping to other countries CAn be difficult. Maybe that would have been better handled via PM, but as to the adapter not fitting, it needs to be resolved by the seller.

Quite a coincidence on the thread deletion.

Considering you've already sold me parts fraudulently, I don't trust you to refund the money once you have the parts.

This whole affair is in the hands of the site admins now anyway.

And no, I didn't need to spell-check such a simple word.

All this means absolutely nothing.
I already said i'd refund you the money.
I just want the MAF's back first.
I have looked at the pictures and these are NOT the proper MAF adapters for the VQ30DE from the A32.

I don't have any actual control here, but I think that there are really 2 options:

1. slow_yota refunds all funds paid by the buyer, including return shipping costs. The buyer then returns the items to slow_yota, OR

2. Slow_yota sends the funds for the original purchase to a 3rd party who holds the money, and slow_yota sends the cost of return shipping to the buyer, who returns the itmes using the funds sent to him by slow_yota. Upon reciept of the items by slow_yota, the 3rd party releases the refund back to the buyer.

In the first case, very little is lost in terms of paypal fees. In the second situation, more money goes to PayPal.

If you look at this as a reverse sale, slow_yota, it makes sense that you send the money first. When he bought the items from you, you made him pay before you shipped them, correct? Well, this is effectivey the same situation. The recipient should pay before the product is shipped.

A quick google search turned up this thread of slow_yota ripping people off on another forum.

http://st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=3531

Ricky D*** of Jane St. South Bend, Indiana - same guy who sold me these adapters.

EDIT:

Here's another one from a different board
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/cl...ller-list.html

Time to move on to a new board to rip people off Ricky

Are you going to sue Google Maps?

Not that it is illegal, but I removed the street number. Just watching out for the org. If someone needs the number, they can PM brucerap or use Google.

Payment received (see your pm's phenryiv1) and parts will be returned when seller provides new address (as he requested).

The info I posted is available through a simple google search.

Thx to phenryiv1 for helping to resolve.

Not sure about that, but defrauding people is definitely illegal.
