How do I clean the IACV?

Ok, so I need to know how to clean it and what tools I'll need, the tutorial that's already there is to clean the throttle body and the IACV and that could get confusing since its the first time I'm gonna go undeneath the hood of my car. I happen to have a friend at the Lexus repair shop who's gonna let me do it in there and use their tools but I'm not counting on him to be a big help in the actual job, so I need to go in there ready to do so, can anyone just give me a simple run down on what to take off, how to clean it, and what tools to use?
