Belt tensioner on 1996 I30?

Quick question guys: I was looking at the Motorvate alternator replacement write-up and would like to know where the belt tensioner they mention is on my car. When I look at my car I do not see it, yet I am looking at the same spot they have pictured. Is that not the write-up for a fourth gen, or is the 96 different (like do they work on a 99)? Sorry for the question, but thanks in advance!

'95-'08 all use the same tensioner.

Have you looked at my belt replacement video?

If your tensioner wasn't there, then you either wouldn't have a belt driving the alternator/compressor, or someone forced on a very small belt to do so.

Could you post your email address for me, so I can email you some pics? Thanks a lot for all of your help.
