Sick GalleonGPS CARPuter with GPS custom software and extras
FS: GalleonGPS CARPuter with GPS custom software and extras
Hey guys I'm new here but hopefully that won't deter anyone. I am paypal verified I'll post verification link when I get home(currently working). Being that I'm new I would rather deal with pick up but if you REALLY want it shipped I have no problem doing only under the stipulation that payment be done with a verified paypal account and I'LL ONLY SHIP TO THE PAYPAL ADDRESS! Okay now that I got that out of the way.
I have a GalleonGPS model GAL-652 http://galleongps.com/product_details.php?id=17
I picked it up from a buddy of mine, and now realize that I took all the fun out of it by buying a prebuilt system. I want to build my own for varying reasons(KXProject 5.1 compatible card, and I'm planning a crazy wifi setup with a huge antenna lol putting odbII sensor and more). It's not really my loss since if I don't sell it I'll just use it, but its definitely your gain if your in the market for a sick set up. You can view most of the specs on their site. It comes with their front end and stuff along with a few gps apps and stuff like that. I'll take screenshots once I get home I have it hooked up to tinker with the software.
This is where the custom software part comes in, I love tinkering with the software so I won't mind getting it set up to your specifications. I'll install a customized version of xp(an actual custom xp cd that I make) thats designed for stability and performance, and has a VERY low working set of memory(small memory foot print). What ever apps you want a optimized build of firefox (http://weblog.pigfoot.org/pigfoot/) and more. Feel free to PM me and I'll post pics and screen shots later on today. If your local you can stop by and take a look. I might be open to trades depends on what though. Oh price I'm asking $800 OR BEST OFFERwhich I think is more than fair. The screen alone goes for 400-500. Feel free to ask any and all questions. It comes with a frontend from Galleon but if you want to use another I could configure that also.
[EDIT] Sorry am super hungry, extras include the GPS module some cables that make wiring to the car much more simpler, a power inverter, a foldable keyboard, a laser mouse, a drivers cd(just incase) and I'm sure a couple of extras I'm forgetting.
