Engine Swap 1999 engine in 1995 Chassis?

Should every thing match up? I.E., wiring connections, fuel lines, exhaust manifold, drivetrain.

Quite a bit. If you want to swap over emissions components from your old engine, then it'll work just fine, but don't expect a '99 VQ to be plug and play in your earlier chassis.

I have a blown head gasket (chocolate milkshake in my oil)on my 95 motor I will use anything that is still working on my 95 motor make a successful swap. Is there any other mating issues?

My mechanic is prepping the 99 motor now. He said it should take him about a week too complete the swap. I did notice one difference in the 99 engine and that was the exhaust manifold connection side that goes too the exhaust pipe. The whole is bigger. Using my 95 manifold should handle that. I will be sure too keep the website posted on the outcome.

300.00 for 99 motor with 83,000 miles with a warranty and 600.00 for labor and probably another 150.00 on belts and tune up kits.

I figured all 95-99 would be fairly similar with the exception of a few sensors here and there and some different accessories such as AC Compressor and what not.

I don't want any surprises, I take it from these few threads other than a few component switches I.E. exhaust manifold, emissions components maybe a few others it should be a smooth swap.

god damn man u were better off just doin a dek swap seriously.. you could have found one with less miles than 83k. I would have done the install myself though. $600 and a week with no car isnt worth it.

The mechanic I have is very thorough and maticulous he can take his time no hurry. I am not into speed the factory 3.5 V6 in it splender is plenty of horses for me. What the hell is a dek swap anywho?

Dude, you need to write better. It makes it look like you're swapping in a 3.5. You also spelled splendor wrong and used "whole" wrong. A "whole" is a complete something, a passageway you're referring to is a "hole". DE swap is swapping a 222hp vq30de-k into a your car which originally has a 190hp vq30de. I'm surprised nobody flamed at you for not posting in the all motor forum. Maybe that's because it's just a vq30de->vq30de swap.
