Kevin007 has passed away

I received a call yesterday informing me that Kevin better known as Kevin007 here on the Org passed away yesterday from cancer. Kevin was known here on the org for having one of the fastest 6th gens around. Kevin modded the heck out of his 6th gens and was at the track religiously running them until recently.

I am reposting this in this thread because Kevin spent alot of time in this section of the forum and has helped alot of people here with improving their times.

Kevin Crawfords Memorial Service
will be held at 1376 Prospect Ave
Bronx NY 10459
(718)542-8377

terrible... very cool guy if u got to know him, we were at the track multiple times, shared words of encouragements before runs, swapped timeslips and chat on about or cars and what we could've done better to be a lil bit faster... i got the shocking news from datdude20 today and its really sad, sorry to his wife n family and we will pray for their strengths to overcome this tragedy... he wont be forgotten

Extremly sad and may he rest in peace. Cancer is an ugly thing, but now he is resting and no longer suffering. RIP Kevin.

kevin was my idol and me and him definitely spoke a lot via pm. he was the one that inspired me to do my whole set up etc. i cant believe he has passed away. when i read the title of this thread i got goosebumps. you guys dont even know how many times i watched his 12 sec pass video.

for old times sake here it is again:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhx92o4hugw

recently i been buying MT street radials, lighter wheels, and the whole nine just so i can chase down kevins time in the 1/4 mile. I will definitely run at englishtown now before the season is over and will dedicate it to kevin007. REST IN PEACE TO A GREAT GUY AND A GREAT FRIEND. YOU WILL BE MISSED.

A great loss indeed. I only met him a couple of times, but he was always a happy, sociable, and sincere guy. My prayers go out to him and his family.

I know Chern lives close by him , for those who knew him or spoke to him , maybe we can get in contact if the family wishes for us to send donations or money for flowers/funneral.

Im not sure anyone else close by him but I do belive he met with Chern a few times.

Kev you will be miss !

I never knew Kevin, but based on the comments here and the big org, he seemed like a very kind soul. He touched the lives of many through these forums. My thoughts are prayers are with his family.
