had to take my foot off gas before trans shifted 95 auto

as stated, after i had been driving her yesterday in traffic she sat in gear, ( like second ) and wound'nt shift over until i took my foot off the gas. happened once before 3 weeks ago in similar situation. is there a sensor that goes bad on the trans that does this?? did not slip at all, ive done like 5 auto transmissions and this was def not a slip. tranny guru's step in. thanks>>>

Not a guru but....
I get this when she isnt warmed up yet.
I drained and refilled the tranny fluid to synthetic, that helped quite a bit.

Get your car scanned. I got my 4th gen scanned yesterday to see if the KS code was there (it wasn't), but I got 3 other codes. EGR, O2 sensor, and something else that I had never heard of. It might have to do with the transmission cause mine does the same thing from time to time.

When was the last time you changed the trans fluid and filter? Do you have a CEL?

no cel, i had a used trans put in last june with 70,000 miles on it. runs really strong, fluids almost perfect. a little beat up, but not burnt. im thinkin its an electric problem with a ground, its an auto. i have selenoids on the outside that go bad right??
