Michelin Pilot Sport A/S from Tire Rack

I just bought some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/55/17 for my 05SE.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Killer deal for $129 and then a $70 rebate.
Anyone tried these?
I have a heavy snow vehicle but I need something that will take me through some snow from time to time if I get off work at 6pm. These look like they might do the trick.

I run 17in rims in the winter instead of the 18in chrome. Smaller footprint and easy to clean.

I have 2 sets of these tires (Pilot Sport PLUS version, so similar), that's how much I enjoy them. Great all weather performance and much better than other tires I have used in the snow and rain. Have on mine and father's maximas.
Great deal you found.

Tires arrived yesterday when I got home. That is FAST shipping, especially considering there was a weekend.

Apollos,

I put a set of these on my 5th Gen in Feb. I've loved them ever since. They do GREAT on dry roads and handle the snow we get well enough to keep me from needing to get snow tires.

That's been my experience so far too, dry handling is like a performance tire. I've actually had a little wet handling but with the deep channels I expect them to be real good in water.

I ended up going with an AWD vehicle the next day because after if froze overnight and it snowed a few more inches it would just have been to much for the Maxima.

My Max is my daily driver and only option. I was actually passing people on the Interstate. I can't stand folks that drive along at 25. I was doing about 50 with great confidence.

It is still on tirerack. you may have to search specifically for the size since sometimes it is not listed on their main Michelin page. I just send a link to my friend for these tires a few days ago.

Also, I don't think the rebate is still in effect. I couldn't find that.
