0-60 times for our cars? Getting Lots of disrespect from ricers.

Ok. So I don't know if this topic has ever been made but I really gotta admit. I hate that people don't believe that our cars are capable of doing a low 15 and a high to low 7sec 0-60. now I know our cars are not super fast cause I am not saying that but for a 3k pound full family sedan. I say she moves and I always get dirt by ricers about what our Family sedans can do.

As far as I remember I remember seeing on a site that the maxima 5 speed in 4th gen could do a 6.8. That is what I have pretty much seen and that beats V6 mustangs btw. So that gets even them erked up because they are acutally sports coupes. haha.

And I got arguments from all kinds of Honda fans and people who do generally kno an ok amount about cars. (not as much as me of course hehe) but anyways.

What are some proven times for our cars for autos, Standards(5speed) and with bolt on if it even helped? I just wish there was a legit car and driver site to go too so we can shut up all the ricers that our cars can beat just about any honda they can ever afford.

I think one reason why people disrespect our cars is because they just think it is Nissans Camry or Avalon or most of them on the road are junk and driven by old people or they just see automatic ones get beat by 2stage hondas but what they don't relies is the fact that Nissan was awesome enough to give us the VQ and a decent 1st and 2nd gear

Did you know that the '95 Maxima was the quickest Japanese sedan available in the states when it was introduced? This was with a 0-60 time of 6.6 seconds as tested by Motor Trend. Very impressive indeed.

When my car was N/A it ran a 14.3 on street tires. Def surprised a few people including myself. I love being the underdog though. It just makes victory that much sweeter.

You know what shuts ricers up.

Hearing the launch control on an E-manage Ultimate coming from a 4 door car...

I think we should just ignore those Honda ricers, seriously. I mean we can build a crazy Maxima with 300HP and smoke every car around, but there will always be those people who still will be ignorant and won't accept a fact for what it is.

I agree.

Any honda from the same years are so much lighter but we still smoke em. Either way the maxima will still look more refined and classier.

I pushin a high 6 secs myself .

Very well said. There are people that will always think that vtak that might have 120HP or maybe not is faster then a Maxima no matter if you have 400HP. That will never change - a lot of dumba**es out there

Are we comparing to newer cars like 2000 and up???

Are we comparing V6 to V4 or V6 to V6???

Are we comparing horsepower to weight ratios???...This could be an ongoing debate.

FTW.

Your the only person driving the damn car, not them. we know, and you know that most N/A Honda 4 cyls (Hell even the J32s gets walked on by VQ35s, which is why I became a maxist) don't have what it takes (keyword, most, there are some monsters prowling around on the streets).
