Maxima is stalling on me, could o2 sensors be the cause?
My 95 Max with 216k on it is has stalled on me a couple times, and it can be hard to restart when it stalls (it did it to me past night while driving about 40 mph, and I had to crank it about 5 times b4 it restarted). I checked the codes and it is saying both of the front o2 sensors are faulty, so I am planning to replace them, but I wanted to get a 2nd opinion and find if u guys think that bad o2 sensors would cause this knd of problem?
tune up lately?? i know mt 95 is temper-mental
sometimes if the air filter is dirty or the utb has'nt been cleaned in awhile. plugs, fuel filter, some bg gas & oil treatment would probably be a good place to start.

Bad o2 sensors might cause you to have horrible gas mileage....but it won't make your car stall out randomly like that.
Check your fuel pump. It's the only thing I can think of that'll make your car stall out while you're in motion.
Or maybe you have a bad ignition switch that doesn't stay in the "on" position as it should.
