HELP rear cover gasket

HELP rear cover gasket

problems
1. i bought autozone gasket kit, do u need sealant on the sparkplug orings? and i don't know which side is up or down, can someone help..oem rings are different and flat. the autozone ones are part flat part buldgy

2. do i need to apply sealant on both sides of the gasket (indide to grove and on top?)

3. need a new coil are all the coils the same of is there a particular order?

i live in queen does any one want to help me finish off?

I didnt put any sealant on mine and that was 50,XXX mile ago and they still dont leak. but i got my gasket from advance auto i dont know if there different.

1. If when you say sealant you mean RTV you do not need it for the spark plug seals. Pay attention to the ones that you pull out and put the new ones in the same way.

2. Yes. Do both sides

3. There are two kinds of coils: front - cylinders 2,4,6 and rear - cylinders 1,3,5.
I live far, otherwise I would help you. It should be a simple job, just takes some time

there are two different coil packs used on the engine. cylinders 1,3,5 use one kind and cylinder 2,4,6 use a different one. the difference is how far down the coil pack has to reach down to plug on to the spark plug.
