Changed bumper lights and now the side blinkers does not blink

Whats good orgers,

I just changed my amber front bumper lights to some clear ones (cheap ebay 40$), looks real great, nice easy quick mod but now the side front blinkers does not blink anymore...

It came with new bulbs and i've put the new bulbs, tried the old ones back but neither blink anymore, to be honest i dont recall if they ever did work tho. The front ones work fine

I noticed on the small side bulbs the connectors are not the same on each side, tried reversing the bulbs but no luck.

Also on all the lenses there is this rubber thingy that doesn't seem to connect to anything, what is that for?

Any ideas guys?

thanks man

The sides never blinked on your car. You can rewire them to blink if you'd like, search and you will find threads on it.

Yeah, they dont blink with the signals, but they come on with the park lights. Ive always rewired mine to flash with the signals. Its just a matter of cutting the power wire going to that light and running a new power wire from the signal to it. Easy as hell, takes maybe 5 minutes to do...10 if you solder and use heat shrink.

The rubber pieces on the back are to let the lights vent. You'll notice the headlights and corner lights have them as well.

Yeah I checked em last night when I went out after posting,
did came on with the park lights, i had only tried the hazard lights when i finished putting them on during daytime... haha

on the side lights there is one black and one red wire going into the connector, which one would that be? and to which wire does it needs to be rewired afterwards? thanks for the info man

Also does anybody know what size those bumper bulbs are? 194's?
I'm thinking about led'ing those lights, id like to make my front pure white.
(edit: nvm, 194 sides and 1156 front)

im gonna go search after posting, cheers fellas
