Poll: 2k SE wheels or 2k6 Sl wheels?

Its been a long time since I've posted on here. I'm hoping to get back in the scene again sometime this year. So as of right now I'm kind of in a dilemma. Currently My Max is just sitting on my driveway with a slipping clutch (not too bad yet) and an alternator that keeps draining my battery. Right now it sits on some 2k Se wheels, the wheels themselves are in good shape but one has about an inch and a qtr to a 2 inch curb check on it, barely noticeable. Anyway I'm not really in a good financial situation right now. Before when I was doing good I had bought some 2k6 Sl wheels. This things are flawless, brushed aluminum, 7 spoke 17 inch wheels. I had the older 2k2 versions along time ago and really liked how they looked but I fell in love with the 2k6 Sl's when they came out so I sold them. Well I finally got these wheels at about 550 on ebay about a year ago. My maxima is a 99 se. I was wondering what you would prefer on your 4th gen. The 2k SE wheels or the 2k6 SL wheels. I honestly love the look of the SL's a little better but I also Like the sportiness of the SE wheels and how it stays in the SE package. Selling these SL's right now would really do me some good but I don't want to do something I'm going to regret later. I would just like to know what all the other 4th genners out there would prefer on there max between the 2. Let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I'm definitely considering it. I'm just thinking about the holidays but I'll see. Thanks.

I don't have any pics if my max with the SL wheels but I do have a few with the SE's.

Here's my max with the SE wheels when I was slammed on Ksports, I dont have that suspension anymore. Right now Im on Tein S-techs.

These are the SL wheels I have.

i voted for the SE wheels, if not for the sole purpose of the nissan "burger". in 02, they revamped the logo, and anything up to 01 has our same emblem.

if you're REALLY hard up for cash, sell the SL's and the SE's and go for some Z32 wheels. the N/A versions are pretty dirt cheap, and look great IMO, plus they have a wider footprint. i bought some in not-so-great condition and put about $20 worth of paint into them. it was fun, and they look amazing. (edit: our stock center caps fit on the Z wheels, or you can do like me and buy some center cap stickers on eBay and throw them on the Z center caps. looks great.)

another option is to sell both and pick up some steelies. depends on how hard up you are.

I'm loving the 6-spoke. Dropped/slammed or not.

hmm, this is a hard one. it'll be better if the sl's where on the car too. but since the se's are pictured on your car i'll say the se's all the way. its really hard for me to picture the sl's on a 4th gen.

Thanks everyone. Yeah as of right now I'm leaning towards selling teh SL's and ust keeping the Se's on. The money could really help me on getting the max back on the road. Preciate it once again.

Keep what youwant. I think you like the 2k6 rims better. But 2kSE rims fit better for your ride.
