I am the second owner this '95 Nissan Maxima and it has treated me well. I brought it in to the local Pep Boys to get the starter replaced and found 2 check engine codes and rather not spend more money on this car as I have a 2nd vehicle...

-Stillen Y Pipe/ exhaust

198,xxx documented miles
-I have all paperwork, maintenance records from the day it was bought in 1995. (Window sticker of $25,946 included)
-scheduled oil changes at regular 3,000 mile intervals

-9/10 Tan Cloth interior with stock CD/radio player and BOSE speakers, interior lights, lighter working as they should
-Sun/ moon roof

Recent maintenance:
08/09 Spark Plugs changed
10/09 4 New Tires (215/65R/16)
11/09 New wheel bearing replaced (front right)
11/09 Scheduled Oil Change @ 197,xxx miles
12/28/09: New Starter replaced with lifetime warranty

BADS:
-needs Camshaft Position Sensor replaced
-needs Intake Mass Air Sensor replaced

Car currently doesn't run because while the starter was being replaced @ Pep Boys, these 2 check engine codes came on. I have an official quote for the fix @ $313.28.

The car is a perfect first car or commuter car. (or ready for a swap)

sounds to me your car will miss you, if you were anywhere near nyc i would make a trip to see you, but your only 4,000 miles away i say keep the car buddy you wont regret it

 

Yeah, NYC is a tad bit too far. lol, but I figure I'd let it go since I do need some extra cash to bring in the new year. I will definitely miss her, and I hope someone from this community of maxima enthusiasts will be the next owner.
