Best sizes for Angel Eyes?

I contacted Umnitza a while back and they wouldn't tell me the sizes they sell for their Angel Eyes. I find their prices to be ridiculous, so I was wondering if someone knew what sizes would work on the 5.5gen headlights. Thanks!

I've searched but found nothing for sizes. I don't want to buy the wrong ones. And just on principal, I won't buy from Umnitza.

Will do. I suppose you can just measure the diameter of the headlights and do some old HS math to come up with the best sized CCFL rings.

No thanks. Don't like the cheap eBay headlights. Only interested in the sizing for the halos...

I completely retrofit my ebay projectors with TSX projectors and CCFL rings I bought from http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...yes/Categories

The CCFLs they sell are a top notch product IMHO...and they are bright as hell and I mean BRIGHT. So keep retro solutions in mind if you are going to go to CCFL route

I know the sizes you would need for the ebay projectors but thats kind of irrelevant since the 5.5gen headlights are not equal in size to the ebay projectors

I understand your logic here, but its really just the inside of the ebay headlights that can be considered cheap. And when I say the inside I mean the halos then come with, everything else is real solid, trust me on this one.

I say pick up a pair that way you can chew them up and go mad scientist on them. Its also much easier because all you have to do is replace the rings it comes with, with either cfls or what ever you choose.

Their relatively cheap too, I think like $175 shipped now brand new. Once you finish them up you can pop them on and sell your stockies. You might even make more money back than you spent. The blacked out housing will also improve your rides look, as it is a darkish gray. You could also color match them while their open, that will look truly boss.

- The Ebay headlights you have, do you have an HID kit installed on them? Cause I want to pick up a pair, but I dont want to have the bad surprise. I see the projectors out there too, but not sure about the HID bulb fitment...

Yeah I just don't like the look of the ebay lights for our cars. They look cheap to me compared to OEM.

I'll try to take some measurements today or tomorrow. I have a MyCarr E46 DDE kit sitting in my room, which has tabs that need to be cut off and they fit the high beam reflector perfectly. The low beam reflector is larger in diameter so you either need to play with the ring a bit, or find a different size. I have a busted headlight in my room which I can grab some measurements from.

no link.. they were e46... and they were a major PITA to make them fit... tab cutting was simple...then.. lots and lots of strong *** glue..and then they started going out in no time.. ..i think i had one left out of the 4 so i just said my good-byes and cut the wires going in.. ..so i said F-em....buy decent ones or go home..

There is always these ones just have to figure out what our Max diameter is in MM.
http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgur...a%3DX%26um%3D1

I was looking and trying to figure out which would be 145mm outside which would be 4.9" ( the Toyota ones look close) a set of 2 large rings & 2 small rings would run from what I see about 81.00 US shipped

I messaged an ebay seller who had them for sale and he wouldn't tell me the size because it was "confidential information and proprietary". This is BS. What keeps me from buying their rings and measuring them and than posting the information?? Nothing! So I don't know why they are so uptight about it. So I will probably get they ebay kit (They said it's guaranteed to fit) and measure the halos and post the info here. I would really like to know the sizes first, however.

No one has a halo kit laying around that they could measure?

So I have a broken headlight, haha.

The measurements were taken from the widest portion of the reflectors, and from the peak of the chrome ring to peak.

This is a Mycarr E46 LED DDE Ring.

The measurement was taken from the middle of one side, to the middle of the opposing side.

The ring fits perfectly on the low beam, center for center. The high beam needs a bigger ring or to be stretched hardcore.

Sorry, about the ****ty pictures. Had to use my phone, left my camera at the girlfriends house.

Really, thank you so much!! Oznium.com has them in 120mm and 128mm. $25 for 2 transformers and they give you 3 rings, just in case.

http://www.oznium.com/circle-ccfl

$50 for halos is more like it. Thanks so much again!
