So just how many fully loaded 5 speeds are there?

In the 4th gen, I guess this would disqualify most the GXE 5 speeds as they seem (no offense) to be the most watered down. GLE's are out because they dont come with 5 speeds. So this leaves the SE's. Personally, my SE came with the OE alarm/keyless, leather, heated seats, homelink transmitter, sunroof, automatic climate, bose radio with CD, heated mirrors, power passenger and driver seats, 16" wheels, spoiler, white gauges, fog lights, ABS, cruise control, mudflaps and yes it is a 5 speed.

Looks like since I got heated seats and mirrors I got the cold weather package, which should mean I also have the 120 amp alternator, and heavy duty starter.

The comfort and convenience package should include the alarm/keyless, automatic climate, power passenger seat, and the homelink transmitter.

The spoiler, 16" rims, fog lights and gauges are SE so I dunno if thats considered an option.

The only things I can think of that it didnt come with was wood dash, sunroof air deflector and gold plated emblums. But those are usually dealer added anyway arent they?

white face gauges are stock on all SE's

I have a automagic 98 GXE :hammer:

190hpKilla has a fully loaded 97 5 speed. Rosewood black, w/ black leather interior. Climate control, ABS, wood dash, sunroof, heated seats etc.. NYC GXE has a Superblack 97 SE 5 spd w/ beige leather, cliamte control, BOSE, everything except like heated seats (but it's a florida car, who needs a$$ warmers there) It's for sale BTW..

These cars are ****ing rare to come by I'd say.. Most people buy 5 speeds because they are cheaper, so when people save by buying a stickshift, you bet most don't go for any of the other options either, maybe they do, but very few.. like sunroof only.. Some go for just GXEs if all they want is stick. Fully loaded 5 speeds are rare

No Joke, It is hard enough to find a 5spd SE, much less one that is fully loaded. Sure am glad I got one though The best option hands down has got to be the 5spd though, and that isn't even an option

I know, I was referring to Eric since he listed them as an "option" along with leather, climate control etc..

Victim, the 5 speed is not for everyone
remember what the Maxima is, just a family sedan.

Rosewood black? I always thought my Rosewood color was closer to a deep maroon... sorta brownish. But I like it!

I have a fully loaded 5 speed, 98 SE, Rosewood, beige leather, Bose, etc... The only things I don't have are wood trim and mudflaps. And it was hard to find... so I'm glad I snatched it!

Oh, and I have wood trim, too

I didn't know I have an upgraded alternator and heavy duty starter. Good to know!

Sure it is. It proves that I have one of the most rare forms of 5 speed, which is already rare to begin with. If nobody cared about it, there wouldn't be 20+ responses already. You're the one who always posts about stuff nobody cares about.

You'd be surprsied just how many aren't. I'm in the market for a 98 or 99 SE because I want all the goodies that the GXE doesn't come with.

I've found a few, but none LOADED (leather, sunroof, bose, ABS, cold weather package). It seems that I can find 3 out of the 5, with the ABS and cold weather being the hardest to come by. Personally, I don't care about ABS or Heated Seats, so finding a car is a little easier.

I think that there are very few Maxima SE 5-speeds with ABS how about getting a count on that?

that's something I didn't think about, I know a guy up and the drag stip I goto with a 95 without abs and all the same stuff as me, and he runs a little bit better, does having abs hurt the performance of the car? like because of a belt or extra power out of the engine?

Actually that is most likely because he has a 95 and you have a 97 (95 is lighter and less restrictive) I didn't notice that you have a Y-pipe, but I think once you both have y-pipes that you will even up a bit??
