I think 2k1 TL is more luxury than 2k and 2k1 Maximas, the same as
2k2 Maximas.

Maxima SE are sportier than TL and CL.

Is this thread a result of the "which is faster-Maxima or regular TL" debate? Can't win the race so you're going to try to find something else to make your car superior? My frost gray cloth seats own your ebony leather...

Why did you ask in the first place?
You live in Montreal right? Well you can compare how your car matches up first hand to a 2k1 5spd first hand or how about a few 2K2 6spd? Let me know?

Im just curious but why do you always have to start a thread that tries to make your TL better than the Max in some way, shape, or form!? Listen are you trying to convince us or yourself? You have a nice car and its pretty quick and luxurious. What are you trying to prove on this forum??? Enjoy your ride!

PS Max is more Luxurious!

Why do you even bother asking if you "know" the answer?

hmmm

lemme see... The TL is the most luxurious Honda Accord I have ever been in. Quality materials? probably TL... Style? Maxima.

btw, the TL costs alot more... it *should* have more luxury.

Actually to be serious.. i have sat in a 99 TL and a 2k2 Maxima.. and since Nissan has changed the leather on the maxima for 2002.. i would have to say Steve's 2k2 leather was much more comfortable and luxirous than my friends 99 TL

awwww...now don't say that...you'll insult all the Tl/s oweners..lol

I must say that the TL and TL-s interior looks better then the 2k1/2k2. The quialty that Nissan uses just plains sucks. The plastic, the leather, the winshield, etc. I am not saying it doesn't look good, it just bad quialty. A TL cost more then a maxima then that's why it has a nicer interior. but the Exterior of the maxima looks much better.

I agree about the leather. I like the new leather and seats in the 2002 Maxima much better. They feel quite nice.

And your TL steering wheel isn't heated and your rear seats won't fold down. So there!

The horror, the horror!!!

The seats might feel a lot nicer and comfortable then the 2000/2001 becasue they are less sporty and more luxurious. Sometimes it doesn't feel that comfortable when they are soft..becasue they don't support your back THAT good as a harder seat(2000/2001)

I would much rather sit on leather/cloth side of the seat than sitting on the folded seat so TL wins this?

Not a luxury item but I do work with my car (lot's of monitor and cpu's get hauled). It's just that I took folding rear seats for granted . I tought that both of them had it.

Oh, and since I work with my car, the Max get's my vote for cargo space! (and it has a six speed AND looks better)
