Can 5th gen coilovers work on 4th gen

Hey wasup guys wanted to know if 5th gen coilovers could work on a 4thgen bc im getting some free megan coilovers from a friend bc of his accident.

The rears bolt up perfectly.

On the front you have to enlarge the upper hole that bolts to the steering knuckle.

Sometimes there's also a spacer required at the top depending on who's coilover. Not sure about Megan.

Considering the minor knuckle change, I'm still surprised that Tein never supported their SS dampers for the 4th gen. They wouldn't warranty the EDFC unless it was the 5th gen or later.

Why not? I haven't seen anybody post that they did though.
