I have a friend who just got the new Jetta and another who owns an Audi... they both can do that thing where you can roll down the windows by turning the key in the door.

I was just wondering what goes into that and how it could be done. I'm not seriously considering it cause I'm lucky enough that I can roll down my windows without actually walking up to the car via my remote.

But I was just wondering what would be needed to be done to a car in order for the windows to roll down by turning the key in the door.

 

you need to buy a power window module. DEI makes one..i'm sure the other big alarm companies makes them too. this will give u one touch up and down and open and close the windows w/ the remote.

You might want to tell them that they can have their cars programmed so that they can open/close windows with the remote. It's somewhere on Audiworld.com and VWVortex.com.
