Looking to buy a 4th gen 5spd transmission. Getting ready to perform 5spd swap and vq35 swap supercharged. I ordered one from ebay but fedex damaged the transmission during shipment. I am now looking to purchase another one soon. There are none local.

 

they damaged it? what did you do about it?

 

I just talked with the seller he just received the transmission back at his place. Fedex made the decision that the package was damaged themselves and automatically returned it. I just spoke with the seller and he explained that the transmission isnt damaged its still packaged nicely and that the only damage that he could see is that the part of the transmission that the shift linkage connects to was sticking outside of the packaging, but was not bent he is going to send it back to me. So now i guess ill just wait and see if its ok when it gets here.
