Tonight Was Awesome!!!

I ran about 15 times at the local track and my best was a 14.758@93.91. While I hit between 14.78 and 14.89 every other run. I was amazed at the consistancy. BTW, I brake torqued to about 1100 RPM and gate shifted for the best times; however, when I let the computer shift, I still managed a 14.89! I was accused by many other import racers, as well as a few ricers, of everything from a supercharger to a 100 shot. The only mod I have is a pop charger intake on my 2002 GLE (auto).

Very impressive! It looks like the 2K2 auto max is consistently a 14.7 second car now. If you could some how shave a tenth off your 60 ft you would be running a 14.5 !

I wonder what a 2K2 GXE w/ no options 6sp would do in the 1/4 mile. If a loaded SE can run 14.3 then would a stripped GXE be able to run 13's?

 

That is awesome! Maybe the intake is actually hurting your 60ft a bit? If you launh a little higher than 1100 can you still get grip?

 

what about a stripped SE 6 speed? if you're going to take everything out anyway....might as well use the manual.

 

6 speed is only with SE....

 

i know. he said "stripped gxe". a stripped maxima is a stripped maxima. i took that as "gutting" the car. so if you were going to gut a car why use the autp gxe? but thats not what he meant i dont think so ill shut up now.
