WTB: Test pipe for 95/96

I'm looking for a test pipe, preferably resonated and with an O2 bung. Does anything like that even exist?

I believe the concept of a test pipe is to replace the cat, which would be hard to resonate unless you replace the mid-pipe. I have a test pipe, which is essentially a section of 2.5" stainless pipe with two two bolt flanges welded to either end with them offset to match the bolt pattern on the factory cat.

Let me know if you're interested in it for $30.

They will range from generic price of like $25 to name brand of Megan for like the $55 + shipping. Unless you want to be major illegal for +/- 2 hp, dont worry about the test pipe, but they are cool, and will make your exhaust much louder.

I got the no name hi flow cat on ebay for $30 and it looks VERY similar to the megan one linked. I haven't had any problems with it and it did make my exhaust quieter.

I had a test pipe in for a few passes at the track and it made 0 difference in times. I couldn't stand the fuel smell and the impact to the environment, so I put a new cat in. Car is quieter now as well.

Was it resonated? Where did you put your O2 sensor?

i have a resonated megan test pipe for 95-99 max. if you want it, make me an offer.

for 97-99, easy install: replace the cat with the test pipe.
for 95-96, a little work, not much: replace the cat with the test pipe. if there is a gap between the test pipe and the b-pipe, cut the flange off the b-pipe and bolt it to the test pipe. get a section of pipe to cover the gap (2.125" is stock diameter, but most shops will use 2" or 2.5"), weld in place. take a torch, heat up a spot (cherry red) and jam an o2 bung into the new section of pipe.

alternatively, find an exhaust shop willing to do it. try to make a deal, because it's illegal to eliminate a cat...be prepared to get laughed at.
