For those driving on 18" wheels
For those driving on 18" wheels
Mods please don't put this on the tire and wheel section because this is specific for the 4th gen Maxima:
I just what to share my experiences on how bad it was riding on 235/40/18 tires in the northeast. After replacing tire after tire, from blowout cause from the smallest pot holes to sidewall bubble. The experience was a nightmare!!!
Well now I upgraded to a bigger size, 235/45/18 and let me just say what a dream it is riding on those size tire. Hitting bumps are now a joy. No rubbing at all.
So those looking to add new rubber for the summer. I would recommend a 235/45/18 tire.

Actually you lost sidewall but you are back to the correct diameter, the 45 series had a half inch more sidewall.
