WTB (OR PARTOUT): ECU for 2k2 Maxima 6MT

My brother's 2002 Maxima SE 6MT has a bad ECU and it has to be replaced. Nissan wants $1100 for the job, and clearly that's too much money. We need an ECU and all required parts for the swap (see below), or we're parting the car out. More details on the mods (yes, mods... and plenty of them) if this WTB falls through.

Required parts: Not sure, but if i had to guess, the security/immobilizer thingy probably wouldn't take the new ECU without a new key. which means i would need a new ignition. not sure how deep that goes, hopefully it's just the ECU and we're done.

please help us out here, guys!

dude check car-part.com if nobody has one on here. You can get an ECU, have the car towed to the dealer if it doesnt drive, install the ECU and have them reset the immobilizer on the car. Shouldnt cost you more than 250-300 total. Dont part out the car for that little money

Good suggestion.

Edit: the part is listed as "Computer Box Engine".
