Has anyone with a black max noticed excesive swirl marks on their car. You don't really see them unless it's really sunny. I had my car detailed my the service people.

Damn Maxima paint...what have you used to remove some of the swirls ? I tried the Maguiers stuff but it didn't seem to work too well.

Get some 3M Swirl mark remover for Dark colored cars(#39009) from Pep Boys. I had a 95 SE super black and this stuff was a miracle.

dude, its not ALL the paints fault....i have a Grey Luster Max and i hardly have any swirls. It is all in how you wash the car--i do everything to prevent swirls. Once swirls are there, you can either keep covering them up, or get it professionally fixed.

You're fighting a losing battle my friend.

True, my black Max looks good at every angle, except when the sun directly shines on it, then you could see all of the swirls.

Wash your car in linear strokes only, none of this circular motion crap. When you scrub the dirt off, use lots of water to flood the dirt of your wash mitt (that's what I use). Once you got swirl marks, you can't get rid of them.

All black cars are like this. You really have to be careful how you wash, wax, your black car. Anything can scratch it, even your hand. Yes, your hand.

The way to remove the swirls is to have it professionally highspeed to remove it, then take care of it from that point on with the right stuff. 100% fieldcrest towels for waxing, and polishing, cotton 100% pads, 100% cotton wash mit, top to bottom of car when washing, and rinse often, shammy or absorber to remove water, as well as calif water blade. Clean smammy often as well to remove grit in it which can hurt your paint.

I might have a few swirls on my car, but they are very hard to find, alot of people can't believe my car is almost 1 year old an the paint still looks awesome for a black car.
