I am not all impressed with the straitline performance of this car. Turbo and intercooled 232hp and 271tq at the wheels. 14.7@97.3. Please tell me this was in reverse!! MadMax2k is running 14.7@95 with intake and y-pipe and stock exhaust. Even if this car was an auto, man if you say you have a turbo it better perform.. The baseline numbers were 15.5@91.3 and 190 hp and 184tq at the wheels stock.

 

I talk to Jim Wolf this morning about this very car. He said they purposely detuned the car when they gave it to the magazines so they wouldn't blow it up. This included turning down the boost on the turbo.. So you definitely can't comment on the ultimate performance of the turbo
