BC RACING COILOVERS

I was trying to make a new thread in the Group Deal section but had no success so mods you can move this to the appropriate spot.

I spoke to a sales rep at Motostartire.com last week and he said that he can get a deal on BC Racing Coilovers (BR Series) for our 5th gens. He said that they will sell them for $900 Shipped if I can get 3-5 people that are interested otherwise it will be $950 shipped. His name is Eugene Bova Jr and his number is 603-281-5114. Tell them you spoke to Kelvin. The thing is there will be a 2-3 week wait for them because they are out of stock as of now. Anyone interested? Please let me know and if your serious call him! Thank you

I can get them custom spec'd to just about any spring rate and matched valving you need for $920 shipped. No order limit.

I race a VQ powered SE-R and BC is our title sponsor.

Eugene is a cool *** dude...

I believe I am the reason we can get them @ $900 a pop

He never told me I gotta round ppl up to get them at that price tho IDK if things have changed w/the company or w.e tho

Tellem ya boy "Sci" (that's me) gottem for $900 shipped and take it from there
he said everyone in my car club/fam can get them at $900 shipped too

Make sure that you tellem it's for the A33 plz do that and make sure they know it's for an A33 chassis...they shipped me the wrong sh** and it was crazy to re-ship and wait again for my sh** even tho they covered the cost

I have been looking and just need some advice, I think I need to replace my struts and definitely love well handling cars. I just want to know the pros and cons of these? I drove an NX for 18 years, drove it off the showroom floor and loved every minute of the handling. I was in an accident last Sept, people thought it was still brand new, it was immaculate! (Boohoo..can u tell I am still hurt) lol. Now I have an 02 SE 6sp and it definitely has filled the hole I had quite nicely. How will the coilover compare on the Max? The NX was very tight but yet still quite bearable as a daily driver. Will these have a similar ride in the Max? Or will I even be more presently surprised with even tighter cornering ability while preserving that "luxury feel". Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I drove an NX for several years myself and now race a B13 and B15 chassis. All we use are BC Racing coilovers, for the street and track.

Since I can get the BC Coilovers custom valved and sprung (for $920 shipped), we can fine tune the ride and handling of your chassis depending on the road conditions where you live and what you plan to do with the car.

To mirror the NX handling, I suggest an even 9K/9K set up. This will give you sharper handling, quicker turn in and a balanced ride, without being harsh, bouncy or bumpy like other coilovers. The spring preload is also separate from the ride height adjustment so you wont incur any spring rattle or noises when uncompressed.

McSteve, I just sent you an invoice for your set.

Thx!

I received a couple PMs about how these arrive out of the box. They come with the springs preloaded (tension) and the ride height preset for an equal drop at all four corners. Most folks simply open the box, install and are happy with the ride height.
However, you can fine tune your ride height to suit your needs quite easily without adjusting the spring preload.

Also, I've sold a couple sets to the UK and those folks havent experienced any issues with the salt, snow or change in handling in the cold.

Here is my car on BC Racing coilovers:

McSteve, your custom order has shipped from the factory.

Bootiesan, your double order for custom BCs has been received by BC and has a spot on the production line. I'll let you know when its shipped.

Maximalxl, these are ready to install out of the box and can be done with simple hand tools. Its a very easy install. And if you have any questions while installing the coilovers, you can always call me and I'll walk you through it.

The price is still good for Maxima owners
