I need to replace mine. Can someone tell me where it is on a 2001 maxima?

 

OP what symtoms is your max giving you that you feel the need to replace the IACV?

 

i have one from a 2001 dek motor i used my 4th gen IACV so i just had it sitting. PM me if interested

 

The iacv is under the throttle body, you have to watch because coolant passes through them and if the coolant leaks past the oring on them then it shorts them out and u have to replace both the iacv and ur ECM but I think my ecm is ok. Guess I'll see when I change the iacv

 

If the motor is just shot, as in mine, without a o-ring leak, you can just replace the sensor/motor. Is your car shutting off when idling or in neutral?

 

i still need a iacv, anyone have one for my car?

 

my brothers 01 is doing the same problem.. Idles at 1500 and jumps to 2000. back and forth back and forth, by itself.. we changed the iacv, reset the ECU and NOTHING.. still does the same thing..

any help??
