name this vacuum hose

comes right off the block and goes beneath the airbox, but is hooked to nothing??? is this how it SHOULD be, or am I missing something? thanks

so it just sits as is then? good to hear

came across it cleaning my TB today and was like... hmmmmmmmm.........
