how long did it take you? metal brush and sand paper only? any fluids?
i am wondering if there is way to save it clean like that for long time...

looks so much better , so how about intake manifold turn now ?

i started out w the metal drill brushes then dremmel steel brush then to sand paper. only to 600 grid tho. not too serious. and for the polish, i used the mothers aluminum polish with the drill rag looking thing. lol (forget the name) the runners are gonna go soon anyway lol but i started the timing chain cover

the only reason i actually had time to do this is becAUSE I HAD A SPARE ENGINE Laying around on the side. so i took the covers off that and did it while i was still driving my car around.
as for how long it takes to do. id say about 2 hours, depending on how much you like to procrastinate and how smooth you wanna finish off.
