is my ac blower giving out?

got a 95 maxima. and when i got it about 2 years ago it did this once and then fixxed itself but i turned on the ac and put it on the 4blade mode i got the digital ac system and it just didn't blow at all ac compressor was on. when it did this it took 5 minutes later for the blower to blow and when it did holly hell it was COLD guessing since the evaporator was freasing.

anyways its done this twice in the past few weeks except one time didn't work for 30 minutes and im in texas ITS HOT. what could be going wrong?

and when i put it on high sometimes it takes almost 20seconds for the fan to get to full speed. but once it gets going i drive 100 miles to and from work with ac on and does good.

Yeah its the blower motor. I had the same issue as you but was the opposite which was winter time...man, my behind was freezing till I went on the highway and it finally decided to spin and heat came in. Got one from the junkyard for $35 from an I30.

Not at all. You just have to remove the plastic piece at the bottom side facing the door to get more room. If I recall, its only 3 bolts and one of them will be kinda difficult to get to but you will know how to work the ratchet to get it to come off once you see it. Don't pay someone for that job...waste of money

Brand new blower motors are 49 dollars on ebay with a lifetime warranty. Easy to install too, it only took me 15 min. You should take out the glove compartment it makes it much easier to get to it.
