what kind of bulbs do you have, i had that problem when my higher wattage bulbs melted my harness and fried that wiring.

my soultion: got an APC headlight rewire kit and everything's ok now and my lights are even brighter!

your harness is melted. it'll get worst and worst. take out the over wattage bulbs and get a new harness. IF you want to run the overwattage then get a APC upgraded harness kit.

the plug that plugs into the headlight is melted. so it's not connecting or making contact to the bulb. so you have to cut the wire and splice a new connector on.

ouch, that sucks man. i got lucky because the shop that i bought mine from gave me a lifetime guarantee on it. see, when i bought the bulbs the guy told me that i wouldn't need a new wiring harness. so when my stock ones ended up melting anyways, he sold me the APC and said that if i ever have any problems out of it that he'll give me a new one free. he said that as long as i own the car, he'll replace it free if it melts!!
