Greddy EU harness knock offs half price, top quality

For sale are professionally built Emanage Ultimate harnesses. This item is a direct replacement for Greddy 15901500 and will save you approximately 60 dollars, or 50%! In the world of consumer electronics, one of the items with the highest markup are cables, typically seeing 300 or 400 percent added to their cost. I don't feel this is fair. These harnesses are built from Amphenol Multi Lock connectors, which are EXACTLY the same ones used in the official harness. The wire is specified for use inside of an automobile, and the crimps are done using only professional crimp tools. Right now I only have a picture of the prototype, but these harnesses will use sleeves of shrink wrap to bundle the wires. To keep costs for me, and ultimately you, low, only black wire is used. To ease installation confusion, each wire has a shrink wrap label applied to the free end. The information on the label corresponds to the Greddy Emanage Ultimate Installation Guide, and to Dandy Max's installation writeup. For a cable as described above, the cost to you is 65 USD shipped.

I can build the necessary resistors into the harness to prevent codes related to the stock ECU not being able to sense the ignition coils. This option is good for anyone that does not want to solder resistors inside of their Emanage Ultimate. For a cable as describe above, PLUS the resistor module to fix CELs, you pay 75 USD shipped.

These complete harnesses are four feet long, approximately the same length as the Greddy Harness, if not slightly longer.

An overview of the harness:

Every wire has a label:

For scale:

The only thing not included with the harness are the bullet connectors. This cable should be soldered in place to prevent any kind of electrical connection problem. Included with all cables will be a pictorial instruction sheet showing how to strip, tap, intercept, solder, and shrink wrap all the wires you need. Soldering irons, solder, and shrink wrap can all be purchased locally at most Lowes, Home Depot, Radio Shack locations or at comparable store. Bullet connectors can be purchased sperately at most auto parts stores.

Finally, I will guarantee that these harnesses are free from workmanship defects and will replace or repair them if a problem with workmanship arises. This warranty is valid for one full calender year from the time of purchase and is administered at my discretion. I can offer such a warranty because I am confident that these cable are built tough. This warranty does not cover neglect or problems with installation, only issues with the assembly of the harness itself are covered. Aditionally, I am not responsible for problems that arise from incorrect installation or improper use. I can help you troubleshoot though, if you ask nicely.

For a direct Greddy 15901500 replacement = 65 USD shipped.
For a direct Greddy 15901500 replacement + resistor module = 75 USD shipped.

Happy Tuning.

Awesome! Glad you got them produced. Good luck with the sales. I know many people will be glad to grab these instead of the greddy harnesses!

Interesting...

I have one question. On those wire it says

B-12 (24)

This means Connector B wire 12 on EU and It needs to patch to wire 24 on ECU?

No. As per the EU installation manual:

The number in parenthesis corresponds to the number of the wire in this diagram. I chose to also note the connector letter and pin number as an additional way of identifying the wire. The connector/pin method is more standard that an overall wire number, but the GReddy manual chooses to identify the wires with the overall number. To find which wire of the Emanage ultimate harness connects to which wire of the Engine Control harness, check the Dandy Max write-up.

Yes, it will. This product is a direct replacement for Greddy's own Emanage Ultimate complete harness which will connect the EU to any car's electrical system.

Dandy Max has written a detailed write up for installing the EU into 4th and 5th generation Maximas. The instructions that I will send with the harness will specifically be on how to tap and intercept wires using solder and shrink wrap to make the best possible connections.

Why didn't you make the Plug N Play harness? Just curious.

The main problem with the plug and play harness is sourcing the connectors Nissan used for the ECU. If you could find a spare ECU and ECU harness, the connectors could be removed, and a plug and play harness could be made.

The connectors for the EU were relatively easy to find, and its a good way to save some dough for the end user.

there was a guy offering a plug play harness a short while back. In that thread... there was another guy who posted and had the part #'s from a company that sold the ECU side of the connectors.

It's not getting the part numbers that is hard. I have that information and it is in a thread I started in the all motor section. It's actually finding someone that carries a part that has not been used in production since 2001.

If you could get me the plug from a Maxima engine wiring harness with about 8 inches of wire on it and an old ECU, I can make plug and play harness for like 75 bucks more. I have a picture of one I made for myself. I'll have to upload it when I get home.

So basically what I am offering is 150 dollars for a plug and play harness with the resistors built in, provided you send me the plug from a Maxima engine harness with about 8 inches of wire on it and an ECU to use for the connector.
