Ok Set me straight .. NDSS System ..??

Ok I am a research dude.. I will research every single little thing before I purchase something ..lol (cheap) .. I am replacing my head unit .. I have come down to two HUs .. They both output 4ohms .. I have the NDSS system on my 08 .. (non bose) .. Im pretty sure the speakers are 2ohms .. I wanna hear from folks that have just have only updated their headunit, and kept the stock speakers ... results?

I pulled out the stock head unit in my non-bose 07 last year and replaced it with a kenwood dnx9140. I haven't pulled the stock speakers out to replace them yet but they sound decent and get loud enough to listen to the radio at highway speeds with the windows down.

Thanks bro... I've read around that could potentially burn out the head unit.. but since your running good, and I even called Crutchfield to confirm.. Its all good..
