Can anyone tell me what this is and what it goes to or for?

i opened my trunk tonight to find a piece of hosing behind the carpet on the passenger side peeking out behind the edge of my carpet i traced it back as far as i could with my hand and it feels like it travels up towards the rear door on the inside of the passenger fender.. any help would be awesome im so confused and im wonderin ig this has anything to do with the car not starting at all????

Does it go back to your antenna maybe ?

That's a drain hose.... yea this is a drain hose for the side quarter panel where the jack is. It suppose to be attach to the power antenna housing.

Water is channel through the antenna housing to this tube and channel through the bottom of the rear end. without this plug in you will have rust problem in your quarter panel.

To me it looks like the end the antenna housing maybe attach and the end in the photo is to be place through the hole at the bottom of the fender... you would have to feel for it and just stick the end through the hole. you may could fine the hole better from underneath the car to help you find what area you need to look for. but if you just feel the bottom of the fender with your finger you will come across the hole at the bottom of the fender.
