It's about time I reached 15 posts! Ok so here are a few before pics of my car as of today, by next week I will have 07-08 front & rear! Need some opinions on modding my 6.5. Should I paint the roof black or leave it the way it is? If the roof goes black then the "chrome" strips will go black as well. Let me know wat u guys think, thnx!







It's a bit beat up but will look wayyy better in a few days! Btw this is how I bought it.

Black the whole thing out.............roof, strips, headlights, rims, grille, etc.

Black and Silver is always smooth

 

I need to let the shop know what I'm doing about the roof n strips by tonite, tm the latest..can I plz get a lil more opinions if I should do it or not??

I know that, I just never seen a silver car or max with a black roof, I think it looks sick on a white one tho. That's why I'm asking.

 

agreed...but a black or CF roof, hood and trunk would go nice on this.

To the OP, obviously I have a 5.5 gen but I think jsmith's Maxima is good point of reference for seems to be the direction your headed...the black roof with either a carbon fiber/black hood looks very clean. However, ultimately take your time and do what you can afford.
