Ac Not Working on 96 Manual

Ac Not Working on 96 Manual

The ac on my maxima stopped working or i might say blows air only when you put it on 4 but the same things happened with the Heat don't know what cause this any answer will be welcome THANKS

Thanks like i said the ac control is manual i have to turn the button all the way to number 4 to work but it only blows air nothing works from #1 2 and 3 it's like all the other numbers doesn't exist except # 4 same thing when you using the heat works only on # 4

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR, the resistor job is to keep the fan speed at the desired setting of your choice, when in position 4 the resistor doesnt play a role in operating the fans-no resistance applied, its located behind the glove box secured by 2 phillips screws. ez to install take 1 min.
