I have a used motor I pulled from a '96 Maxima. Has just under 190K on it. Was running, but had some crank thrust bearing wear and was swapped for a jdm motor from a salvage yard. Have everything from the lower intake mani to the oil pan. Two complete heads, all front timing gear, the complete short block (will part out whatever you want from that), valve covers, some other small parts. Make offers, i'm not looking for much, just thought I'd offer it up rather than just sell it for scrap.

how did u find a JDM motor in the junkyard?

 

Local place that imports motors, not a regular 'junkyard'. They had two of them when I went to retrieve it with the owner of the car.

 

Also, pulled the crank today, it has some damage on the rear flange from me locking it when removing the crank pulley. So i'd say the crank is no good (it's still usable, but it's not 100% anymore).

 

Heads and front timing covers/gear still available. Took the block down and prepped it for scrap.

 

Anybody? Hate to toss a pair of good heads, but I don't have room to keep them.

 

Sold the heads, one last shot on the timing covers/gears.

 

You still have the engine?

 

What engine? the one I took outta the car was worn out, I scrapped the block and crank. The heads were sold on here, all I have left to sell is the timing covers, timing gears, etc from the front of the engine.

Na, crank pulley was separated, had 190K on it. It came out in two pieces.
