are 18's too big for comfort? I want a comfy ride , I am sticking with stock ride height for now. I was going to use 235/50/18's but not sure if thats too big for a 7 inch rim....

 

18's are fine, they will not rub.
If you are going 235 rubber you need a 45 sidewall to stay close to the original wheel radius.

235x50R18 would have too large of an overall diameter. When I did the calculations for my 17" wheels, I found 225x45 and 235x45 would maintain the closest diameter to stock.

Never too big. you can even go with a 245 width depending on the width of your rim. As far as rubbing that's going to depend on your drop.

And back to the original topic. I wouldnt put these wheels on any nissan, the offset is probably up in the high 40s somewhere. It'll look like the wheels are hiding from the world.

If you really are set on getting these wheels, go with a 215/40 tire. Or maybe even a 205/40. Unless you wanna try to get the most wide track possible, which in that case, you shouldnt be looking at a 7" wide wheel in the first place.

wow my head hurts after reading all the "information" in this thread.

18's are argueably the perfect size for 4th gen. 235's are the prefect width for an 18" wheel for a 4th gen as it maintains nearly the same overall diameter. But, 235's are slightly too big for 7" width. proper size is not 235/50/18, its 235/40/18

My rims are 19"/10" wrapped in 305/35/19 but that doesnt mean anything in this thread

 

18's are perfect for 4th gens. I have 18x7.5's with 225/40's. If I had a choice I'd go with 235's which would be closer to stock diameter but these tires came with the rims.

with a 18" x 7" wheel i'd say run a 225/40 as i believe thats the exact size for a 7" wide wheel...you can run a 235/40 with no problems if you want, but i personally wouldnt
