Doing a CSM, and saw some GREAT NEWS!

Doing a good old fashion cooling system maintenance job on the ol 95 Maxipad (belts, thermostat, waterpump, hoses, flush and fill) and I noticed this....AWESOME more work to put into this thing....




Yeah I should've noticed it when I bought the car..didn't meh oh well...for you lazies, here is the thread I had when I purchased it.

DAMMMMM... How you cross member staying attached is a mystery. I just fixed mine too. Got the lower section replaced... before snow im gonna be filling the lower section with expanding foam insulator to keep the water from collecting inside. I think the water collection is the culprit behind the rot.

Im curious, whats thebest kind of foam to use in this situation? Also dont worry Stormz mines worse! =] Also just keep in mind that rot isnt the entire rot.. Just think theres most likely 3 more inchs all the way around that Visible rot thats unusable metal!

thats a fail answer man, that lower sections going to have to be replaced completely. no quick fix is going to work on that support.
