Hm. I'm wondering how much of a difference in sound there is between different headers. In The Law's video he has HS, testpipe and cattman 3" but there was no hint of rasp. But he wasn't getting on it either.
PS- I want my AT to shift like that
even when I "gate shift" it doesn't. I guess it's time for the DR mod.

Call me old, but I don't like it with the test pipe. I liked it better with the cat.
same here, its very loud. I am going to install the cat back on some time this week when i have time.
However, your camera mount/filming was quite impressive. How did you mount it back there?

I have a suction mount.

Glad to see that the cat is going back on. Sounded much better and I'm sure the exhaust will probably smell a bit better too.
Cool! I just happened to see a 3" test pipe on my buddy's 1.8T A4 last night. The VQ is waaaaaaay louder and less raspy, actually, than the force-inducted 1.8L. Cripes, though, if his Audi isn't now a million times faster than my car. =(
Do they still sell high-flow cats for Maximas? I would love to rock out a test pipe, but figure a high-flow cat would be a more mature/practical solution. I know headers are cheaper than replacing the stupid OEM pre-cats, but haven't read much on the cat itself.
I know that, after ~125K miles, my cat is starting to clog up, possibly even stuffed already.
