Im doing a 5 speed conversion swap and I just need to make sure do i need a 5 speed manual ECU? If so, can I use an ECU from a 95 maxima and use a 98 maxima manual transmission? Will it work? I checked out the 5 speed parts list, but other members on the org are saying that you will need a manual ECU if you are doing a manual conversion. Any positive info will be great.

 

you can use a 5-speed or auto ecu and from a 95-98. what codes will pop up will depend on what year car you and ecu you run. also a auto ecu will cause you to have slightly higher idle
