Hey guys. I'm throwing a P0021 and thinking it's my IVT solenoid (2nd bank). Is this testable via voltmeter? I plan on replacing it myself if so, as it looks quite easy, I just want to verify it's not functioning properly before I do fork over the $140.00 for a new one. My timing is advanced to 17 degrees, which is why I think this solenoid may be the culprit. Thanks in advance.

Take it out, get a 12V source and put it across the pins. It should move freely back and forth as you apply/remove power. I had one that was sticking and I thought I could fix it but couldn't.
