NM2B WOT/No Light Shift Box

Has anyone attemped this no lift shift on a 4gen tranny, just wondering if it's even worth the risk.

I was thinking about buying this for the WOT box..... Alot of Srt4 owners use it and thrive by it making a differnece. Plus it's pretty cheap

I know the 2 step part works, I am worried about how the glass 4gen tranny would respond to wot shifting

with turbo? you're going to break your **** with a quickness unless you've got a clutch that doesn't grab very hard or you're a really low power setup. NA you're probably fine. I've always no-lift shifted at the track while NA but never dared to do it while turbo (now that I have stronger gears though I may, if I ever turbo again).

Thanks, I was thinking the tranny would not last

oneday I am going to try a make a tranny brace to reduce the amount of housing flex

that's still not going to prevent broken gears if you're making upwards of like 350wtq though. the gears are just too tiny. only thing to do is shot peen them well or get better gears.

What do you think about using the no lift shift on the 6 speed tranny? Will it hold up on a turbo car?

i think it's pushing it still. the 6spd is stronger than the 5spd, but that's not saying a whole lot. i would not do it.
