Front Panel Features


  • 1. Tweeter: 1” Magnetically Shielded Natural Silk Dome


  • 2. Woofer: 5” Magnetically Shielded Paper Cone


  • 3. Enclosure: Hand-crafted wood enclosure provides insulation of the acoustic components delivering a stable and superior bass response. Designed with a custom-made interior, the enclosure minimises vibration for distortion free sound and clear audio reproduction. Rear Panel Features


  • 4. Power Indicator LED: Indicates whether the speakers power is turned 'ON'.


  • 5. DC Out: When connected to the dock, this power cable allows your iPod to charge when docked.


  • 6. Aux In: This port enables stereo audio connection between dock and speakers.


  • 7. RCA Input: Used to connect signals from unbalanced, -10dBv devices. The white connector is for the Left input and the red connector is for the Right input. Rear Panel Features (continued)


  • 8. Volume Control: The volume control allows you to set the output level of your i-X5 (Note: this function is independent of the iPod volume level).


  • 9. Vent Port: This port aids in reproduction of very low frequencies by discharging frequencies below 50Hz.


  • 10. 6.5mm Jack Output: Use the 5 metre speaker cable included to connect the left and right speakers through the 6.5mm jacks on the back of each speaker.


  • 11. Power Switch: This switch turns the device on and off, The 'ON' position is marked with a white dot.


  • 12. Power Receptacle: Accepts a detachable 3-circuit line cord in order to power the device.


  • 13. Voltage-Select Switch: Provides 2 selections, 115VAC and 230VAC, and should be set to match the “house supply” (receptacle) voltage of the country or location in which the speaker is used. The 115V setting is correct for the USA, while the 230V setting is correct for most of the UK, Europe and Australia. This setting must be correct or damage to the speaker will occur.

Bump works with ipod video 30gb, 60gb, 80gb, iPod nano 1st and 2nd gen.

Will play audio from other ipods, but remote will not function.
