ATF Drain/Fill Drain Plug location

This is my first drain/fill in my 2002 SE.

Is the Drain Plug located on the transmission pan or the side location just in front of driver's front tire (looks as if it takes a 1/2 ratchet.

I searched but couldn't find a post that let me know for sure.

thanks

It's the biggest bolt right on the pan.

Thanks.

I think that bolt was about an 18mm and didn't appear to have a washer - i assume that's the one you're reffering to.

the reason for my confusion is I saw a Altima 3.5 forum post that showed the fitting that looked like a 1/2 ratchet would fit.

Yeah I believe it's 17, 18, or 19mm.
